Frequently Asked Questions
I want to change how my smile looks. What are my options?
You’ve come to the right place. Here in Scarborough, our dental office puts a strong focus on improving the natural aesthetic of a person’s smile alongside their oral health. All of our restorations are made of quality, tooth-colored material, and we offer several cosmetic dentistry services, including teeth whitening, porcelain veneers, Invisalign, and more. Dr. Samantha Amaro and her team can help you discover the one that’s right for your unique smile during an initial consultation.
How long does it take to receive a permanent crown?
While most practices must place a temporary crown to protect a tooth from further decay/damage until the new, permanent restoration arrives, we are happy to provide same day dentistry services here at White Willow Family & Cosmetic Dentistry! This means that our team can design your new crown, create it with the help of our state-of-the-art CEREC machine, and then place it securely on the affected tooth over the course of a single appointment. This is a great option for patients with busy schedules, and you’ll be amazed by how wonderful it feels to walk into the office with dental concerns and walk out with an improved smile.
Will I need to see a separate doctor if I want dental implants?
Dr. Amaro and her team understand the importance of convenience and comfort when it comes to dental care. That’s why they’ve partnered with an oral surgery group that’s located in the very same building as White Willow Family & Cosmetic Dentistry when it comes to dental implants. Patients can undergo the surgical portion of the process there and then return to our office to receive their customized, lifelike restorations – often in the very same day!
Going to the dentist makes me nervous. Can you help?
Of course. Our Scarborough dental office is happy to provide scared or anxious patients with sedation dentistry techniques that are designed to help them feel at ease as we treat their teeth.
Do I have to pay for parking at your office?
Not at all! There’s plenty of free, convenient parking in the area, and several transit options nearby if you don’t have a vehicle available.
